Melrose Castle - Garage Addition

The firm was asked to design a garage addition for historic Melrose Castle, built in 1853. The castle served as a Union Army headquarters during the Civil War. The owners wanted the addition to be compatible with the Gothic structure. Jim designed a side loading garage so that no garage doors would be visible when approaching the private residence.
