Gentle Harvest

The adaptive reuse of the former PNC Bank building was transformed into Gentle Harvest; a café and drive-through carry out, market, and specialty grocery store featuring organic meat, produce, and local vendors.

The interior of the existing bank was stripped of all non-structural elements including carpet, a dropped ceiling and partitions. Carpet removal revealed heart pine floors with marble inlay which were restored. When the dropped ceiling was removed, a beautiful coffered ceiling was revealed. Steel bar joists were left exposed and painted white. The bank vault became the perfect place for a wine cellar.
